When I was serving as a Visiting Professor of Psychology in the (former) Soviet Union, I was informed that there were no books available in Russian on family therapy. So, I collected all my lecture notes and other resources on the topic and organized them into a book, which my new friends and colleagues kindly translated into Russian for me. The result looked cool…although I honestly can't read a word of it.
